Under the direction of the Supervisor of the Data Development and Analysis Unit, the incumbent works independently and collaboratively in producing deliverables related to the Bureau's external reporting functions, developing complex datasets in support of the Bureau's mandated Section 41 legislative reporting as well as other deliverables of high-quality income tax data and reports in support of the Bureau s deliverables of high quality income tax data that is used by other Franchise Tax Board (FTB) program areas, policy makers, the public and other stakeholders in accessing the historical and current impact of established tax laws and policies.
This position performs functions that fall within the Information Technology domain of Business Technology Management.

- Knowledge of Economic and Statistical Research Bureau products and deliverables
- Knowledge of Personal Income Tax (PIT) and Corporation (Corp) tax forms
- Knowledge of PIT and Corp return data sources
- Knowledge of Data Preparation, Analysis and Outlier methodologies
- Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) and Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Knowledge of Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Education related to IT Degree
