Job Description And Duties

Anticipated Interview Dates: In‑person interviews beginning the week of March 23, 2026.

The Executive and Investment Recruitment Analyst supports CalPERS by recruiting top talent for executive, Career Executive Assignment (CEA), investment management, and investment office positions, as well as generalist roles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and conducting recruitment and examination processes for executive and investment‑related positions.
  • Partnering with senior and executive leaders to understand and meet staffing needs.
  • Assisting with immigration‑related matters for candidates and employees.
  • Collaborating with search firms to fill critical roles.
Telework Information

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule: up to two days remote, three days or more onsite each week.

Sponsorship

Not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be U.S. authorized to work without sponsorship. CalPERS does not use E‑Verify.

Effective July 1, 2025 – Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025)

Each employee receives a 3% reduction in pay for 5 hours of PLP 2025 leave credits per month. Salary ranges listed do not reflect this reduction.
