We’re looking for adaptable, experienced Superintendents to oversee dynamic commercial buildouts across California. If you're a seasoned construction leader who thrives in the field, we offer a career opportunity with long-term growth potential, travel perks, and a strong support system.
What You’ll Be Doing- Direct subcontractors and crews to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality delivery
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling, inspections, and issue resolution
- Oversee jobsite compliance (safety, quality, cleanliness)
- Maintain ongoing communication with internal teams and client-side reps
- Conduct jobsite walkthroughs with various jurisdictional agencies and inspectors
- Lead safety meetings, manage daily reports, and ensure accurate documentation
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely equipment delivery
- Support project close-out including punch walks and turnover packages
- Experienced in managing commercial projects through all phases
- Strong knowledge of construction methods (wood framing, MEP systems, etc.)
- Organized, proactive, and highly communicative with all site stakeholders
- Comfortable operating lifts and navigating job sites in varying weather conditions
- Willing and able to work night shifts or swing schedules depending on project needs
- Prior experience with open-store remodels, high-traffic tenant spaces, or large-format ground-up builds is a strong plus
- A background in retail, big-box, or fast-paced commercial environments will serve you well in this role
- Industry certifications or OSHA safety credentials are a plus
- Strong proficiency in reading plans and technical submittals
- Ability to travel regularly within California
- Capable of climbing ladders, managing jobsite logistics, and ensuring field compliance
- Tech-savvy enough to handle logs, documentation, and submittal tracking
