Structural Steel Estimator

The primary responsibility of an Estimator is to research/identify upcoming steel projects and prepare take off of materials, labor, buyout items, and equipment costs to prepare a thorough estimate.

• Research and identify upcoming steel projects
• Read and interpret job bid instructions and detailed specifications for preparation of estimate
• Prepare take off of materials, estimate all necessary labor, materials, buyout items, and equipment costs to prepare a thorough estimate
• Provide a full document trail in a package that can be easily reviewed by senior management
• Prepare scope sheet for bidding purposes

Required experience:

2-5 years of construction estimating experience
