SAK Construction is looking to add a Construction Foreman to our Bypass Operations team in Sacramento, CA.
The Bypass Foreman provides day-to-day working direction to crews while working under the director of a superintendent or designee. The foreman is responsible for supervising assigned crews to ensure Bypass projects meet or exceed standards set by SAK/MPS and customer requirements. SAK provides the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the most talented professionals in the industry.
Responsibilities
Meet crews in the morning at the shop, ensuring crews have required equipment, tools, materials, etc.Complete/check Job Safety Analysis for accuracy related to daily tasks.Ensure job site is clean during and after the project.Ensure crews are taking proper care of equipment and tools.Manage work sites continuously ensuring no operational delays, and that tasks are completed safely and efficiently.Provide a high-quality, finished product in compliance with customer requirements.Assist in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, and traffic control needs.Advise Superintendents and/or Project Management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.Prepare and submit for review: production, safety, time and other reports, as necessary.Qualifications
4 years of experience in sewer bypass or similar construction field, such as utility construction.Experience Managing multiple crews/job sites to be safe and productive.Must be able to work in confined spaces.Must be able to travel, as much as 90% based on operational needs.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.SAK Construction is an affirmative action/Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.
