Goodall Brazier have recently partnered with a leading general contractor to assist in their search for a Project Manager to join their Sacramento team. This contractor works on projects spanning Healthcare (OSHPD/HCAi) and Education (DSA) with projects ranging in value from $1M-$100M+. They are looking to add a crucial member to their team to aid their continued expansion in the Sacramento market and play an active role in the growth of the company.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing client projects from planning through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. You will support the successful execution of projects by coordinating project teams, managing resources, and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Day to Day Responsibilities of this role:- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and support efforts to achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with the estimation and preconstruction teams to support project planning, including review of plans, specifications, and bid documents.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage projects under the guidance of the Project Director and senior leadership.
- Assist in establishing project objectives, schedules, procedures, and performance standards in alignment with company policies.
- Monitor project progress, team performance, budgets, and schedules to ensure key milestones and objectives are achieved.
- Identify project risks, issues, and potential challenges, and implement solutions in accordance with company guidelines.
- Coordinate and support project teams to ensure effective collaboration and successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in the construction industry with demonstrated experience in a Project Management role.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
