Construction Manager/ Foreman, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
Provides leadership in the planning, coordination, and execution of field operations for complex construction projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, safety requirements, and quality standards. Guides field execution by applying advanced superintendent knowledge and judgment to resolve complex construction challenges without formal people management responsibilities. Coordinates across project teams, trade partners, and self-perform work to maintain workflow continuity and mitigate risks.
Influences project outcomes by identifying constructability improvements, sequencing efficiencies, and prefabrication opportunities. Contributes to continuous improvement by sharing field insights and leading practices with project teams.
- Leads day-to-day field execution for assigned scopes of work on complex projects, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Coordinates with project managers, superintendents, self-perform teams, and trade partners to resolve complex field issues and maintain construction momentum.
- Guides field logistics, site utilization, and work sequencing to optimize productivity and minimize disruptions.
- Oversees implementation of safety plans and quality control measures, addressing elevated risks and escalating critical concerns as needed.
- Reviews and validates field documentation, including daily reports, look-ahead plans, and coordination logs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Identifies and supports integration of prefabrication and alternative construction methods to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
- Provides informal mentorship and technical guidance to field team members and peers without assuming formal management/coaching responsibilities.
- Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 7 years of experience in field operations, construction supervision, or a related field required. Experience supporting complex projects with multiple trade partners preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification within 6 months of hire required.
- First Aid and CPR certification required.
- OSHA 510 or OSHA 500 certification preferred.
