The Vehicle Registration Support Representative is a detail-oriented, motivated, and organized professional who delivers exceptional customer service to Vitu clients. This role involves interpreting and applying relevant provisions of the California Vehicle Code and supporting registration processes. The ideal candidate will either have, or be willing to develop through training, a strong understanding of DMV regulations, policies, and procedures related to vehicle and vessel registration and titling.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to client sites daily to support vehicle registration processing
- Respond to customer and internal team inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and a positive attitude
- Audit and verify registration documents to ensure compliance with DMV policies and company procedures
- Communicate with customers regarding documentation errors and provide clear guidance for resolution
- Process new and used vehicle registrations accurately and efficiently
- Facilitate the movement of paperwork between clients and the DMV, ensuring timely and complete submissions
- Support the customer service team with DMV-related questions and assist in determining requirements for special processing applications
- Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on vehicle registration processes
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all Vitu clients.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years of experience in vehicle registration, title processing, or customer service
- Valid California drivers license and reliable transportation required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- DMV or vehicle registration experience is a plus, but not required
- Vitu will provide full training for motivated and enthusiastic candidates
The hourly range for this position is: $22 - $32.75
The final pay for this position will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, location, education, experience, training and skills.
