Primary Role:
Assistant General Managers are the right hand of the General Manager. They are responsible for learning all the
General Manager tasks so that they may take on these tasks when assigned or needed. They are also responsible for
holding Shift Leads and Team Member accountable for their performance and tasks. Follow H.A.R.T (Hear,
Acknowledge, Repair, Thank) when interacting with guests. Always use your WHIRLD Famous Service skills (WOW

Essential Functions:Deliver the ultimate customer service experience and impressions of the Jamba brand
- Engage with
the guests with a welcoming and positive attitude. Make every effort to WOW them by offering
suggestions.
Understand Profitability and Monitor your Shifts
- Labor (23%), COGs (no waste, perfect smoothies,
quality and concern for your product and equipment), Average Check (the average amount a guests
spends), SOS (speed of your service), Attachment (adding extra items to orders), Rewards, ( people
dedicated to Jamba), OSAT (overall guest service score), Pars (a “pull to” number understanding
shelf life and only pulling what you need to avoid waste but be prepared for sales)
Clearly and concisely communicates product knowledge and information to all customers –
Managers are required to complete all transactions that have an allergy. Ensure you have taken the
training and know the proper procedures for handing making a product for a guest with an allergy.
Use HART for guest concerns.
Responsible for customer product and service standards – use Goodness Guarantee, stay up to date
with the stores OSAT score and know where the store falls short to ensure the team focuses on
improving in these areas. Know how to access and use the Guest Focus portal on OKTA, which
includes responding to open guest complaints and monitoring and cascading OSAT scores and areas
of improvement.
Fosters a positive, teamwork oriented work environment- arrive 5 minutes before your shift starts
in full uniform before you clock in, do not allow your team to work unless they are 100% in uniform,
lead by example and always stay and keep your team productive.
Communicates clearly, concisely, and accurately in order to ensure effective shift operations – have
open communication with your team, fellow management, and franchise owner. Walk-on to your
shifts daily to be up to date on what has happened and walk on your team so they know their
expected deployment, goals, and to catch up on store communication. At the end of your shift, have a
walk-off to ensure you achieved your goals and cascade needed information to the next MIC.
Adhere to all company operations policies and procedures – stay up to date with training and 7
Shifts Announcements and previous 7 Shifts Manager Logs. Hold your team accountable and
document positive and negative feedback in 7 Shifts Performance.
Execute Jamba’s customer service standards:- o Greet and thank every customer with eye contact and a smile
- o Recommend appropriate product to meet customer's needs
- o Enhance customer experience through engagement and sampling
- Responds to instruction/direction in a professional, accurate, and timely manner
- Adhere to all Jamba food, safety, and security guidelines while respecting company equipment –
