Our Orthodontic Assistant works 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday with a one-hour lunch. You'll be the friendly person who assists doctors during appointments and helps our patients feel comfortable. This is a great opportunity for an emerging dentistry professional to learn more about the orthodontic field and make a positive difference while doing it! You will:

• Follow the doctors' directions and assist during braces and aligner adjustment appointments
• Take accurate X-rays, intraoral scans, and other diagnostic photos
• Sterilize tools and reset rooms between appointments
• Educate patients on at-home dental and braces care

Interested in becoming our Orthodontic Assistant?

You'll need at least one of the following:

• X-ray certification
• OA certification
• RDA license (or in current pursuit of one)

We're also looking for:

• Ability to connect with patients and help them feel at ease
• Ability to float between our Sacramento, West Sacramento, and Davis offices
• Adaptable and helpful team spirit
• Genuine love for the dentistry field and a real desire to help others!

2+ years of orthodontic assisting experience would be ideal! Familiarity with dental terminology and dental software (Dolphin, Ortho2, etc.) would also be a bonus.
