Designer, Creative Design ​/ Digital Art, Interior Design

Local Sacramento company in search of a Kitchen/Bath/Whole House designer for residential projects.

We are looking for a creative part-time/full-time professional kitchen & bath designer. Candidate must have a minimum of (2) years of interior design experience (preferably kitchen & bath) and have a desire to work with customers using strong interpersonal and communication skills. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail oriented, can manage multiple projects, has good design sense and skills, and has the ability to cultivate new business and create good relationships through connections and industry affiliations.

• Consult clients in regards to design, product, function and form
• Analyze clients goals, requirements, and vision
• Prepare perspective views, elevations, cabinet orders, sketches, kitchen and bath plans, etc.
• Meet with clients at the office, at showrooms, and at project residence
• Work directly with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Order materials
• Take accurate measurements
• Create job binders that are transferred to the field/jobsite
• Provide support to our Production Manager and field staff
• Provide design solutions for all phases of project

• Background in Kitchen and Bath design
• Chief Architect or 20-20 design software proficiency
• Strong space-planning skills to create overall appearance and function of kitchen and bathrooms
• Ability to coordinate colors, materials and lighting to achieve design goals
