Position Overview

Nor Tek Medical Staffing is partnering with Rincon Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to recruit a Physician specializing in Brain Injury Medicine to join their growing multidisciplinary clinic in Sacramento, California
. Rincon Rehab specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and complex musculoskeletal conditions
, delivering highly coordinated, patient-centered care focused on restoring functional independence and quality of life.

This is a full-time, onsite role offering a unique opportunity to practice comprehensive brain injury medicine with minimal administrative barriers
, robust in-house referral capabilities, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration. With continued organizational growth, this is an excellent time to join a mission-driven and innovative clinical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive diagnosis and direct treatment for patients with traumatic brain injuries
  • Conduct independent physical examinations and patient evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing and administering treatments
  • Monitor behavioral, cognitive, and functional responses to treatment and medications
  • No chronic opioid prescribing required
  • Supervise and collaborate with Physician Assistants (PAs), Certified Athletic Trainers (AT-Cs), and Medical Assistants (MAs)
  • Refer patients to in-house specialists and external providers as clinically appropriate
  • Partner with the Operations Team and CEO to support ongoing Quality Improvement initiatives
    , including peer review, chart audits, protocol development, and interdisciplinary case conferences
  • Assist with training, onboarding, and mentorship of new clinical staff
  • Participate in required provider and organizational meetings
Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation
  • Stay current with medical laws, regulations, and best clinical practices
Professional Development
  • Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities
  • Attend relevant trainings, workshops, and professional conferences
Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in one of the following:
    Brain Injury Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
  • Active, unrestricted California Physician & Surgeon (P&S) License or eligibility to obtain
  • Willingness to initiate Nevada P&S licensure within 90 days of employment
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • Ability to evaluate and treat patients independently
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency with current clinical technology and EMR systems
Work Schedule
  • Full-Time | Exempt | 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Onsite primary location:
    Sacramento, CA
  • Travel required 1–2 times per week to satellite locations:
    Stockton, Fresno, San Jose, Reno, Las Vegas, Palmdale, and San Diego
  • Base Salary: $250,000 – $300,000 annually
