VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is an integrated health care delivery network providing comprehensive medical, surgical, mental health, rehabilitative, and extended care services to Veterans across Northern California. The system spans 13 sites, including a medical center in Sacramento, collaboration with David Grant Medical Center in Fairfield, a surgery center in Martinez, and outpatient clinics across 17 counties. This is a full-time, on‑site role as an Orthopedic Surgeon located in Sacramento, CA. The Orthopedic Surgeon will perform diagnostic evaluations, consults, and surgical procedures related to orthopedics. Responsibilities include addressing musculoskeletal disorders, providing patient counseling, managing preoperative and postoperative care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with VA standards of care.
Qualifications- Specialized skills in general orthopedics, trauma, sports, and joint replacement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Board certification/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Active, unrestricted medical license to practice in the United States
- Experience working with Veteran patients or in a VA Medical Center is a plus
Salary: $385,000+
