The staff Obstetrics physician provides outpatient care, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions per ACOG guidelines, including OB-related illnesses.
ResponsibilitiesThey manage approximately 20 patients daily, see walk-ins, and handle after hours calls (telephone only). Key duties include patient assessment, developing treatment plans, performing procedures, documenting thoroughly, and providing patient education.
The role involves supporting organizational values, collaborating with colleagues, supervising NP/PAs, and participating in quality and committee activities.
Qualifications- MD or DO with OB/GYN certification.
- Licensure in California.
- Post-residency experience (preferred).
- Bilingual skills and additional ambulatory experience are preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work at various locations and hours as needed.
