Comp Health APP is seeking a Physician Assistant Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for a locum tenens job in Sacramento, California.

Schedule & Workload- Monday‑Friday 7:00 am‑3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with surgical call coverage
- 1100 cases annually: 70% OR first assisting, 30% floor/ICU
- Focus on cardiovascular surgery: first assist in CABG, valve cases, heart transplants, VADs
- Manage post‑op care in ICU and step‑down units
- Weekend call 1:4‑6 with rounding duties 1:4‑5
- Average surgery length 1.5 h, standard cases 2‑2.5 h
- ACLS certification required
- Complimentary housing and travel
- Coverage for licensing and malpractice
- Credentialing and privileging process simplified

- Hourly base pay plus potential earnings for overtime, call, and holiday pay (rates are all‑inclusive and estimate based on experience and qualifications)
