Seeking a hand surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site services in a healthcare setting. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities- Managing medically complex patients
- Supporting return-to-work and functional restoration
- Collaborating with medical and therapy teams
- Offering both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care
- Communicating with employers
- Participating in case management
- Experience with work-related injuries
- Licensure in your state
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Hand Surgery
- Medical malpractice insurance
