Locums Neuropsychiatry Physician in California - Memory Care, No Call
Neuropsychiatry or Behavioral Neurology locums opportunity in Sacramento, California, focused exclusively on outpatient memory disorders.
Highlights
- Memory care-focused outpatient role
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Multidisciplinary support team
- Ongoing assignment
Practice Setting
- Dedicated behavioral neurology and memory disorders clinic
- Collaborative team including neurologists, APPs, neuropsychologists, RNs, and social workers
- Adult patient population
- Access to institutional review resources for advanced Alzheimer's therapies
Schedule
- Weekday clinic coverage
- Approximately 36 clinical hours per week
- Daytime hours
- Targeted multi-month coverage
Cases and Procedures
- Evaluation and management of dementia and mild cognitive impairment
- Alzheimer's disease and other neurocognitive disorders
- 4 to 5 new memory evaluations per week
- 4 to 5 follow-up visits daily
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurology or Psychiatry Physician
- Active California license
Travel Accommodations
- Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided
