Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor

Giants Summer Camps is looking for energetic, positive coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout the Bay Area. We provide equipment, training, and curriculum; you provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience.

We have a range of positions from Coach to Site Director for athletes ages 4 through 13.

• Have experience working with children ages 4-13
• Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher
• Have a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way
• Are able to connect with children both one‑on‑one and in a group setting
• Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude
• Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what
• Know how to have a lot of fun!!

• Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers
• Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp
• Execute San Francisco Giants Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director
• Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games
• Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from
• Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Giants Baseball Camps stellar reputation

• Be prepared to make a commitment Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 3‑5 week commitment (Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from June 8, 2026 to August 14, 2026)
• Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own
• Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening
• Pay is based on skill level and experience

• Redwood City – Red Morton Park
• Orinda – Wagner Ranch Elementary
• San Jose – Herman Intermediate School
• Elk Grove – Johnson Park Recreation
• Rocklin – Johnson Springview Park
• Folsom – John Kemp Community Park
• Sacramento – William Land Park

• Professional Educator: $22.00 /hour – Requires at least one school year of paid teaching experience and/or proof of teaching certification
• College Student/Recent Graduate: $18.67 /hour
• High School Student/Under 18: $18.67 /hour
