Job Summary
Under the Admission Director's direction and supervision, the Admissions Counselor will guide prospective students through the admissions process, from initial inquiry to enrollment. This position requires strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills, as well as a passion for helping students achieve their educational and career goals.
Job Duties- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students via phone, email, virtual, and in-person inquiries.
- Guide prospective students through the application, enrollment, and onboarding process, ensuring completion of all required steps and documentation.
- Provide accurate information regarding programs, admissions requirements, curriculum, testing procedures, dress code, cost, and financing options, financial aid, campus resources, school policies, and cancellation policies.
- Host campus tours, in-person visits, and virtual information sessions for all programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM systems and conduct prompt follow-up with prospective student leads.
- Review applications and supporting documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
- Address student questions or concerns related to enrollment, financing, academic expectations, and institutional processes to support informed decision-making.
- Follow up with students at the end of the first term and communicate concerns or updates with the Education Department as needed.
- Participate in on-campus and off-campus events to support admissions outreach and marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Admissions, Marketing, Education, and Administrative staff to improve processes and enhance the prospective and active student experience.
- Work closely with the Admissions Director to meet admissions goals and ensure each cohort has the appropriate number of qualified students.
- Assist in developing and coordinating social media marketing campaigns with the Admissions Director, staff, and faculty to promote academic programs.
- Remain compliant with organizational policies and applicable state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay informed about industry trends by participating in admissions training, and maintain required continuing education and certifications.
Perform administrative duties as assigned.
- Minimum Education:
Bachelor'sdegree
- Minimum Experience:
2-3 years of related experience
- Excellent Visual, written, and oral communication
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving
- Technology/Software (Zoom, Canva, MS Suite, SharePoint)
- Marketing, Social Media
During the first few weeks, the job will be part-time, basis-20-24 hours a week, but it will grow to full-time after the training. Business hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5 PM. Potential start date 6/1/26.
