Cooking & Nutrition Classes in Twin Rivers Unified School District

Food Literacy Center is excited to bring our cooking and nutrition programs to Twin Rivers Unified School District summer programs for the very first time, and we need amazing volunteers to help us make it happen!

Volunteers will help prep ingredients, support students during hands‑on cooking activities, and assist with clean‑up while inspiring the next generation of veggie lovers. It's a great way to make a difference, gain experience, and spread a little joy (and maybe some bok choy!) this summer.

• Age 16–17 may volunteer independently with a parent's signature.
• Age 18+ are welcome and must complete two background checks.

• Minimum age: 15+ with adult supervision.
• Minimum age: 16+ without supervision.
