Assistant Elementary Teacher – Sacramento, CA

Assist with the implementation of age‑appropriate curriculum, prepare and organize learning materials, and supervise children during all activities—including meals and naptime—to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.

• Support classroom instruction and contribute to daily lesson planning.
• Prepare educational materials and set up learning stations.
• Supervise children during all activities, ensuring safety and well‑being.
• Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth.
• Monitor children’s progress and record developmental milestones.
• Create a harmonious environment where children and colleagues enjoy each day.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in early childhood education at a certified child development center.
• Prior experience with toddlers and preschool students.
• Ability to use standard office equipment (laptop, tablet).
• 12 Child Development Units – Preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Patience, nurturing attitude, and sincere interest in the well‑being and development of young learners.
• Eligibility for CDE class sponsorship may be available for candidates driven and excited for a career in early childhood education.

• Starting pay: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on education and experience.
