Part-time Strings​/Woodwinds Teacher; Sacramento, CA

About the Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional strings & woodwinds instructor to teach part‑time at Natomas School of Music, our Natomas, Sacramento, CA location
. We are looking for teachers who will instruct IN PERSON! The ability to teach additional instruments is a plus (especially piano, guitar, drums, and/or ukulele). Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This teacher will be taking on students from a teacher departing at the end of May.

The instructor will teach part‑time lessons in strings & woodwinds, focusing on in‑person instruction. The role may include teaching additional instruments as needed.

• Strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
• Ability to set availability within the school’s open hours; preference for candidates with greater availability.

Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $27-29/hour.
