Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our dedicated team in Sacramento, CA! In this role, you'll have the incredible opportunity to guide our youngest learners through meaningful, hands-on Montessori experiences that lay the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. • Plan and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum and activities for toddlers
• Create and maintain a prepared, safe, and engaging Montessori classroom environment
• Observe and document each child's developmental progress and milestones
• Foster independence, confidence, and social-emotional development in young learners
• Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding child development
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive, nurturing school environment
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure health and safety standards are upheld

• Experience working with toddlers or in an early childhood education setting
• Knowledge of or training in Montessori philosophy and methods preferred
• 12 ECE UNITS
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working with toddlers, including lifting and active play
• Must pass a background check in accordance with California state requirements
