Position Details
Casual Worker - Part-time employees working on a temporary basis of up to one year with the possibility of extension.
Position Summary
It would be typical for one Art Model to work for an entire class session, whether for approximately three hours (in
the case of a class meeting twice a week) or for approximately six hours (in the case of a class meeting once a week).
Most observational modeling for studio courses is unclothed (in the nude) and involves a variety of poses sustained over varying periods of time.
FLSA:

CSU Classification Salary Range: $15.50 - $140 per hour
Hiring Range/Rate: $30.00 per hour

Department Information
The Department of Art introduces students to the expressive world of the visual arts. Students are able to explore art through courses in art education, art history, ceramics, drawing, new media art, painting, printmaking, and interdisciplinary sculpture.
Minimum/Required Qualifications
* Ability to hold poses requested by the Art instructor over specified periods of time (short gestural or action poses, longer poses for more detailed studies of the figure, etc.),
* Ability to practice patience, and discretion.
