Preference will be given to SCUSD Student Teachers Only

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under direction, to plan, carry out, and evaluate instructional activities for both groups and individual students, as appropriate for the assigned segment and subject area(s). TRAINING, EDUCATION, AND

EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, and demonstrated success, either in prior teaching, student teaching, and/or related experiences, in meeting the intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of pupils, is required.

• 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit (All Grade Levels/Subjects)
• Designated Subjects Vocational Education Teaching Credential (Designated Subjects in Adult Education)
• Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
  - General Subjects (General Subjects)
• Single Subject Teaching Credential
  - Other (Preferred: Special Ed, Math & Science)

Substitutes work on-call as needed basis. Preference will be given to fully credential teachers. This is a continuous posting for the 2026/ 2027 school year. We will screen periodically during the school year and will email qualified applicants at that time. You must have an active credential with CCTC in order to be considered for this position.
