Job SummaryThe Learning Specialist is responsible for delivering engaging, high-impact learning experiences that build employee knowledge, skills, engagement, and performance. This role serves as a facilitator for instructor‑led, virtual, and blended learning programs while partnering with subject matter experts to ensure training effectively supports organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of instructor‑led, virtual, and hybrid learning programs across the organization.
- Deliver onboarding, DHCS and health plan required training for compliance, and ongoing recurring or refresher training.
- Create engaging learning environments that encourage participation, collaboration, and knowledge retention.
- Adapt facilitation techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and audiences.
- Manage classroom dynamics and address participant questions effectively.
- Ensure a consistent and high‑quality learner experience across all training programs.
- Assess learner understanding through observations, discussions, assessments, and activities.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to learners.
- Reinforce learning through follow‑up sessions, and performance support resources.
- Assist with pilot programs and gather learner feedback for improvements.
- Support the rollout of new learning initiatives and organizational change programs.
- Ensure content is delivered consistently and in alignment with organizational standards.
- Ensure training materials, job aids, and resources are prepared and current.
- Identify learning gaps and recommend additional development opportunities.
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure learning content remains accurate and relevant.
- Analyze learner feedback, training metrics, and performance outcomes.
- Support with Learning Management Systems (LMS) to administer and update courses.
- Gather learner feedback and recommend enhancements.
- Confirm scheduling, logistics, and coordination of training events.
- Assist in the development and revision of curricula, facilitator guides, job aids, eLearning modules, and competency assessments.
