Job Title
Purposeful Leadership & School Direction — Lead the school with a clear sense of purpose and direction, aligned with the IB philosophy and WASC expectations for organizational effectiveness. — Ensure that school policies, programs, and practices reflect the mission, values, and learner-centered approach. — Promote a culture of reflection, inquiry, and continuous improvement across all programs.
Learning Environments & Student Support — Ensure the development and maintenance of safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments that promote student well-being and academic success. — Oversee student services, counseling, and behavioral support systems to ensure equitable access and consistent support. — Ensure student policies and practices promote dignity, responsibility, and positive school culture across all grade levels.
Teacher Support, Collaboration & Professional Learning — Ensure learning environments support and empower teachers through structured collaboration, reflective practice, and professional learning. — Ensure full compliance with IB-mandated professional development requirements for all staff, including new hires. — Support ongoing professional development through in-person, virtual, and online IB-authorized training. — Allocate scheduled time for collaborative planning and reflection, including weekly IB meetings, departmental collaboration, and individual preparation time.
— Foster distributed leadership by supervising and supporting Vice Principals, department heads, and program coordinators. — Ensure documentation of meeting minutes, professional learning, and follow-up actions to support transparency and accountability.
Curriculum Coherence & Instructional Leadership (PreK–12) — Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of a coherent, vertically and horizontally aligned curriculum across Preschool through the IB Program. — Ensure curriculum alignment with: — IB standards and practice
