About Decision Point
Decision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry focused on reaching and equipping the next generation to hear and share the gospel. Through campus ministry, church partnerships, and student leadership, we seek to give every student the opportunity to hear about Jesus.
The Opportunity
The Sacramento City Director will lead Decision Point’s ministry efforts throughout the Sacramento area by building partnerships with churches, pastors, students, volunteers, and community leaders. The role combines evangelism, student coaching, team building, church partnership development, and strategic ministry growth.
Key Responsibilities
Build relationships with youth pastors, churches, parents, educators, and community leaders
Recruit and mobilize volunteers and ministry partners
Coach and disciple student leaders in evangelism and leadership
Train students to share the gospel and reach their schools
Cast vision and expand Decision Point’s ministry throughout Sacramento
Recruit, build, and develop a local ministry team
Provide encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance to students and partners
Represent Decision Point within the Sacramento Christian community
Qualifications
Ministry leadership experience in a church or parachurch setting
Experience recruiting, building, and leading teams
Strong passion for evangelism and developing leaders
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and teachable
Spiritually mature and grounded in God’s Word
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
Compensation & Support Raising
Salary
: $50,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Decision Point provides training, coaching, and ongoing support for staff fundraising efforts.
Additional Details
Full-time, 45+ hours per week
Significant local travel throughout Sacramento
Regular West Coast and occasional national travel for ministry events, training, and conferences
