About Decision PointDecision Point is an evangelical nonprofit ministry focused on reaching and equipping the next generation to hear and share the gospel. Through campus ministry, church partnerships, and student leadership, we seek to give every student the opportunity to hear about Jesus.
The OpportunityThe Sacramento City Director will lead Decision Point’s ministry efforts throughout the Sacramento area by building partnerships with churches, pastors, students, volunteers, and community leaders. The role combines evangelism, student coaching, team building, church partnership development, and strategic ministry growth.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with youth pastors, churches, parents, educators, and community leadersRecruit and mobilize volunteers and ministry partnersCoach and disciple student leaders in evangelism and leadershipTrain students to share the gospel and reach their schoolsCast vision and expand Decision Point’s ministry throughout SacramentoRecruit, build, and develop a local ministry teamProvide encouragement, accountability, and practical guidance to students and partnersRepresent Decision Point within the Sacramento Christian communityQualificationsMinistry leadership experience in a church or parachurch settingExperience recruiting, building, and leading teamsStrong passion for evangelism and developing leadersExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsEntrepreneurial, self-motivated, and teachableSpiritually mature and grounded in God’s WordBachelor’s degree preferred but not requiredCompensation & Support RaisingSalary: $50,000–$75,000 annually

Decision Point provides training, coaching, and ongoing support for staff fundraising efforts.
