The Division of Student Affairs on the Sacramento State campus is seeking to hire one Student Assistant to support Project Rebound's Restorative Justice Juvenile Diversion Program (RJJDP). The Student Assistant will serve as a Credible Messenger Mentor (CMM), providi ng individualized, co mmunity-based mentoring and support to youth participating in the Program.

The CMM will serve as a consistent, trusted presence who works alongside youth as they navigate the restorative justice process and address the circumstances, relationships, and goals that will support their successful participation in diversion and continued success in the community.

This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited, student position. Employment in all positions with University Enterprises, Inc. is dependent upon the mutual consent of University Enterprises, Inc. and the employee. This means that either University Enterprises, Inc. or the employee can, at any time, terminate the employment relationship at will, with or without cause.

Students must be enrolled in at least: six-semester units or nine quarter units for undergraduate students; four-semester units or six quarter units for graduate students.

F lexible workdays and work hours, Monday – Friday, between 7 AM – 5:00 PM. The final work schedule will be determined by the supervisor.

Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees generally work up to 20 hours per workweek (Monday– Friday) during the academic year and up to 40 hours per workweek during breaks; (winter, spring, and summer).

$24.00 per hour.
