This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD Drafting/System Engineer located in Sacramento, CA. The CAD Drafting/System Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical, engineering, and architectural drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Daily tasks may include creating detailed designs, interpreting architectural plans, collaborating with project teams, ensuring adherence to building codes, and supporting the successful implementation of glazing projects.
The role will also require coordination with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure project accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing, Engineering Drawings, and Drawing
- Expertise in creating Architectural Drawings and interpreting project blueprints
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and glazing systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in construction, glazing, or building envelope projects is an advantage
