Overview

GIS Specialist.

Work Location:

Sacramento, CA; ONSITE.

• Perform GIS mapping, graphics, and tabular data development.
• Assist in database design, automation, processing macros, and analytical procedures.
• Maintain and update geodatabases.
• Review GIS outputs for data accuracy and adherence to end-user criteria.
• Assist with online GIS platforms.
• Maintain logs, records, and files.
• Provide GIS assistance to Government staff.

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, natural sciences, engineering, or computer sciences.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of GIS production experience using ESRI software.
• Three (3) or more years of experience using Python and/or Model Builder.
• Successful completion (within the past two years) of ESRI training courses may substitute for portions of experience and/or time requirements.
• Current ArcGIS Desktop or Pro;
  Building Geodatabases or like coursework;
  Cartographic Production; ESRI 3D Creation/Analysis or Visualization coursework;
  Enterprise Geodata Management or like coursework;
  Modernizing your Field Workflows Using Fields for ArcGIS.
