Description
Balanced Body is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team! As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll collaborate with the Engineering team, gaining valuable insight into design work using Solid Works, as well as testing, troubleshooting engineering production challenges, and much more.
Job Details:- Create detailed engineering drawings using Solid Works Software
- Support testing and validation of prototypes
- Tool, jig and fixture to design to support production continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain documentation of assembly processes
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problem solving discussions
- Support the troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical issues in production
- Train production in new product builds
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related position in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Solid Works CAD software
- Proficiency in mechanical design drafting practices, including full compliance with ASME Standard Y14.5 and relevant GD&T standards
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) suite of software
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
