Job SummaryThis position is responsible for developing accurate and timely proposals and estimates for private work projects of more than $25 million while ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Core Values and business objectives.
Essential Job Accountabilities- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or equivalent related work experience.
- 15+ years of estimating experience that includes earthwork, structures, falsework, underground utilities, site concrete, etc.
- 3+ years of management experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), AGTEK Take-off, and Primavera.
- Advanced knowledge of HCSS Heavybid Estimating software.
- Advanced knowledge of civil engineering principles.
- Advanced knowledge of construction principles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of agency Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements and goals.
- Must have valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
