Associate Hydroelectric Power Utility Engineer

The California Energy Bond Office (CEBO) plays a vital role in shaping the future of energy regulation and financing. CEBO manages utility regulatory matters, participates in rate-setting proceedings with the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) and oversees a bond program that supports the modernization of California's energy market.
As an Associate Hydroelectric Power Utility Engineer at CEBO, you will contribute to high-impact projects that blend engineering, economics, and policy to support California's clean energy goals. Under the direction of the Supervisor for the Remittance Section of CEBO, the incumbent will assist in the management of the DWR Charge Fund Program, created by Assembly Bill (AB) 1054 and the Electric Power Fund Program, created by AB 1X.
Responsibilities of this position include performing engineering and economic analysis for forecasting and tracking revenue from electricity retail sales, preparing remittance validation reports, reviewing regulatory decisions, and monitoring proceedings with regulatory entities, managing the revenue requirement work papers, and preparation of engineering and economic reports, metrics and presentations.
