Metal Development Specialist

Erie Home, a national leader in premium residential roofing and exterior remodeling, is seeking a Metal Development Specialist to advance our metal roofing product line. In this role, you will design, test, and optimize metal roofing systems for performance, durability, and energy efficiency. You'll collaborate with engineering, production, and installation teams, oversee prototypes and field trials, and ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine metal roofing components and assemblies
• Analyze material performance, durability, and weather resistance
• Collaborate with engineering, installation, and production teams
• Develop prototypes and oversee field trials on job sites
• Create technical documentation, specifications, and reports
• Support vendor selection and evaluation of metal materials
• Recommend process improvements for fabrication and installation
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, and quality standards
• Train internal teams on new metal products and installation methods
