Opportunity
** AECOM
* * is seeking a
** Mid-level Civil Engineer experienced with water resources and/or transportation related projects
** for an opening in our Sacramento, CA office. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on flood protection and design of a new off-stream storage dam in Northern California. Due to AECOM success in winning work, a career here will continually offer opportunities on a wide variety of projects.
** Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**+ Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities+ Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.+ Collaborate with teams for analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.+ Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents.

* Minimum Requirements:

**+ Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education+ California Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

* Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Caltrans or other DOT transportation projects+ Master’s degree in civil engineering+

Experience with CADD i.e. Civil 3D and Microstation Open Roads+

Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8 modeling software preferred

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $90,000.00 - $.
