The Air Quality and Noise Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in CA. This position involves performing technical air quality and noise analyses to support environmental review documents and planning projects. Daily responsibilities include developing and reviewing emission inventories, conducting air dispersion and noise modeling, assessing indoor and outdoor air quality impacts, and preparing clear, concise technical reports. The specialist collaborates with project managers, planners, and scientists to ensure environmental compliance, supports client meetings and regulatory agency coordination, and contributes to quality assurance for analytical methods and documentation.

• Strong technical expertise in air quality assessment, including experience with Ambient Air Quality and Indoor Air Quality analyses.
• Proficiency in developing and interpreting Emission Inventories for a variety of project types and regulatory contexts.
• Hands-on experience with Dispersion Modeling tools and methodologies used in environmental and regulatory studies.
• Knowledge of Environmental Compliance requirements related to air quality and noise, including familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, atmospheric science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to interpret technical data, prepare high-quality written reports, and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Experience with noise analysis, modeling software, and applicable noise standards is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfort working on-site in a collaborative office setting and participating in occasional fieldwork or site visits as needed.
