The Slot Technical Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Sacramento, CA, responsible for overseeing the technical performance, maintenance, and integrity of slot machines and related systems. This role manages the slot technical team, ensuring efficient scheduling, training, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving machine malfunctions, coordinating upgrades and installations, monitoring slot performance data, and implementing improvements to maximize uptime and revenue.
The Slot Technical Manager collaborates with operations, finance, and compliance teams to support promotional activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to gaming regulations and internal controls. The role also involves evaluating new technologies, recommending equipment and software enhancements, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the slot department.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret slot performance data, troubleshoot issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess Team Management and Project Management skills to lead technical staff, coordinate projects, and ensure timely completion of maintenance and installations.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to diagnose, repair, and maintain slot machines, gaming systems, and related hardware and software.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to evaluate emerging gaming technologies, recommend upgrades, and support innovation in slot operations.
- Relevant experience in casino slot operations or electronic gaming equipment maintenance is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations, compliance standards, and security best practices is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and shifts.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in electronics, engineering, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
