Compensation: $26.40 per hour
PositionMedical Parking Supervisor
HoursFull-time, Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
RequirementsValid driver’s license and at least two years of driving experience.
Spirit of the PositionThe Parking Supervisor oversees the facilities and operations while greeting and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and clients. This position responds to all locations that have a need for supervision.
PrincipalJob Duties
- Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
- Supervises, mentors, and trains staff on day‑to‑day activities.
- Assists in establishing performance standards, recommending and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
- Promotes good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can‑do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Assists customers over intercom system, in lobbies, lanes, and in the parking office.
- Responsible for completing reports related to daily revenue, parking lot capacities, equipment issues, and other reports requested by management.
- Assists with completion of facility monthly safety audits.
- Assists with periodic training as needed.
- Assists with assignment of duties to Valet Attendants and other staff members.
- Coordinates and communicates with Hospital Operations staff as well as other hospital agencies as directed by management.
- Resolves customer service issues or questions as needed.
- Greets by name, is responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and displays a caring attitude, developing rapport with the customer base.
- Park and retrieve cars efficiently and in a timely manner, greeting all patients, taking care of their needs, and developing rapport with each person driving up to the stand.
- Helps direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face.
- Promotes awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, make them love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Parking industry experience is required.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English.
- Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Demonstrates ability to seek improvement.
- Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, rain, etc.
