Overview
The Stellarus Finance team supports financial reporting, analysis, product support and information technology support to Stellarus. The Financial Analyst, Consultant will report to the Director of Finance for Stellarus. In this role you will be managing the monthly production of financial statements for Stellarus and manage the process to develop quarterly board reporting for the Stellarus board and partners.
The Financial Analyst, Consultant will work with Ascendiun, Stellarus, and Blue Shield of California, the family of companies, partners to understand charges posting to Stellarus, as well as intercompany transactions between the family of companies and other entities; work closely with other finance teams to develop all intercompany relationships and charges; and work closely with Global Business Services and the business leaders to ensure all contracting is done correctly and systemically.
Other duties will include support for corporate development transactions including analysis and reporting of Stellarus customers and ad hoc projects.

Your Knowledge and Experience
Responsibilities- Manage the monthly production of Stellarus financial statements and the process to develop quarterly board reporting for the Stellarus board and partners.
- Collaborate with Ascendiun, Stellarus, and Blue Shield of California to understand charges posting and intercompany transactions; develop intercompany relationships and charges with other entities; coordinate with Global Business Services and business leaders to ensure contracting is done correctly and systemically.
- Support corporate development transactions including analysis and reporting of Stellarus customers and ad hoc projects.
- Contribute to leadership development and high-performing team culture through critical thinking and continuous learning.
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
- Requires experience managing the FP&A activities for a business unit or larger group
- Requires prior experience with product financials; with a strong foundational knowledge of assessing total cost of sales, unit pricing, product gross margin, customer profitability
- Prior experience in a startup or technology organization preferred
- Knowledge of cost accounting and GAAP principles preferred
- Prior experience with board of directors and senior leaders in presentation and communication preferred
