Job Description And Duties

Under direction of the Principal Property Appraiser in the Assessment Practices Survey Division (APSD), the Analyst II independently performs a broad range of complex technical analytical work related to performing qualitative and quantitative audits. The Analyst II prepares pre-audit materials; researches, gathers, analyzes, and organizes essential audit data; investigates and analyzes practices and procedures of County Assessors administrative programs; drafts findings with recommendations for improvement;

finalizes audit reports, work papers, and documentation; acts in a lead capacity over other analyst engaged in statistical sampling work; researches and analyzes recent legislative changes impacting property tax law; attends conferences with County Assessors; tracks county audits; and provides consultative services to management.
