Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II within the Medical Management Services Section's Reasonable Accommodation Unit, independently processes requests for reasonable accommodation. Ensures the interactive process with employees or applicants conform with RA laws, rules, and regulations. Provides consultative services and guidance to managers, supervisors, employees and applicants throughout the interactive process. Ensures compliance with State and Federal law, as well as internal policies and procedures related to reasonable accommodation.
Responsible for timely documentation of all RA case assignments and maintaining the documentation in the employee's electronic file. Handles a large volume of calls, emails, and inquiries from all levels of CDTFA employees. Work closely with other areas within CDTFA, including Legal Division, Labor Relations, Performance Development Section, and Diversity and Inclusion Office as it relates to requests for reasonable accommodation.
Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the interactive process. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule of four in-office and one telework day each week.
