This is a hybrid role based in Sacramento County with a competitive compensation structure: annual salary of $183,000 to $305,000 plus an annual incentive opportunity of 0-75% of salary based on quantitative and qualitative performance measures, and a long-term incentive program providing an additional 0-75% of base salary beginning after five years when absolute total fund returns meet or exceed board-approved thresholds.

CalPERS manages diversified investment portfolios across public equity, fixed income, private equity, real assets, infrastructure, and alternative investments to generate returns that fund retirement benefits for California public employees.
