Director of Strategic Partnerships; Part-Time, Sacramento

Real Time Gov is a B2B SaaS platform built for lobbyists, government affairs teams, trade associations, unions, and advocacy organizations. We help policy professionals track legislation and floor votes in real time. Built by people with firsthand experience in California’s legislative process, our platform is designed for the urgency and realities of Capitol work.

This is a part-time, Sacramento-based role focused on relationship-driven growth. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will represent Real Time Gov within the Capitol ecosystem, attend events, build and deepen relationships, and help convert conversations into customer opportunities.

This is not a corporate partnership management role. It is a hands‑on growth position for someone who already has a strong Sacramento network and understands how business is done in the policy and legislative community. The goal is to turn trusted relationships into qualified demos and new customer accounts.

• Build and leverage relationships within the Sacramento government affairs ecosystem
• Attend local events, hearings, and policy gatherings
• Identify and introduce prospective customers
• Move conversations toward demos and closed accounts
• Provide feedback from the field to strengthen positioning and messaging

• Strong Sacramento network in government affairs, lobbying, legal, or advocacy circles
• Comfortable initiating business conversations and representing a technology product
• Experience in policy, governance, or legislative environments
• Interest in helping grow an early‑stage company

Part‑time role. Approximately 10–15 hours per week, with flexibility around Capitol events and legislative periods.

Modest base plus meaningful performance incentives tied to new accounts, with potential equity/stock options for the right long‑term fit.
