Job Description and Duties

CARB's Office of Legislative Affairs is seeking an Air Pollution Specialist (APS) to provide technical support on legislation related to cutting‑edge air quality and climate programs. Under the administrative direction of the Legislative Director and Deputy Legislative Director, the APS will apply scientific methods and principles to perform a variety of legislative tasks related to the review of legislation and the analysis of technical and/or scientific data and information related to that legislation, as well as the advocacy of CARB program policies through the legislative process.

The position will coordinate with legislative offices and state agencies, as well as industry and other stakeholders.
