Under the administrative direction of the Assistant Director, Office of Crisis Communication & Public Affairs, the incumbent assists in strategy and administration of initiatives related to public information for at‑risk communities. The incumbent is responsible for advising Cal OES management and executive staff on the public‑relations implications of department activities.
Working Conditions- In Office:
This position supports and manages the day‑to‑day business operations for Cal OES and is not a hybrid telework position. - DMV Pull Program:
Participation required. A valid Driver’s License is required. - Conflict of Interest:
Must complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
