About this Role

Fiscal Unit 1 Analyst II oversees all fiscal elements of the Contracts and Fiscal Section (CFS) and Federal Grants Branch (FGB). Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II develops, operationalizes, and administers federal grant‑funded services and programs to reduce the prevalence of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder through prevention, treatment, and recovery activities. Duties include oversight and monitoring of contractors and grant‑funded programs to determine fiscal compliance with project, contract, plan, and agreement requirements, terms, conditions, and services.

The role also involves generating policies and procedures and providing training and administrative support as needed.

This classification change note: formerly the Associate Governmental Program Analyst and the Staff Services Analyst, is now the Analyst II and Analyst I classification, effective January 1, 2026.

Travel

Up to 25 percent overnight travel statewide by airplane, train, automobile, or public transportation is required. Travel related duties may take up to a week at a time.
