Job Description and DutiesUnder the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I coordinates a variety of activities for the Registration & Titling (R&T) Program. Responsibilities include providing consultation services to the public, management, and staff on complex aspects of change of ownership—including transfers, private sales, default notice and change of situs address—among other tasks related to the public industry.

Effective July 1, 2025, a 3% salary reduction is in place under the Personal Leave Program (PLP), with 5 hours of Personal Leave Credit earned monthly in exchange. Effective January 1, 2026, the Staff Services Analyst classification will be re‑titled to Analyst I as part of California Department of Human Resources generalist consolidation.
