Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring an LVN/LPN for a Behavioral Health unit requiring a CA LVN license, CPI/Pro Act/PMAB certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Job Details

• Inpatient behavioral health unit setting,

• Adult patient population including diagnoses such as ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Eating Disorders, PTSD, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Major Depressive Disorder, Psychotic Disorder, and Oppositional Defiant Disorder,

• Additional patient population includes those with Substance Abuse Disorder, Alcohol or Opiate Withdrawal, Hypertension, Diabetes, geriatric patients who are high fall risk, patients in pain, and patients with wounds,

• Uses Observ Smart for electronic patient rounding,

• Rover device used for capturing photos, entering vital signs, and documenting food intake,

• Variable 8-hour shifts available: Days ), Evenings ), and Nights ),

• Schedule is 5x8-hour shifts per week,

Job Requirements

• Current CA LVN license required (license required if applicable),

• Minimum 2 years of LVN/LPN experience required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• CPI, Pro Act, or PMAB certification required,

• Recent inpatient psychiatric experience preferred,

• Two supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration,

• Copies of all certifications required for consideration,

• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates,

Additional Information

• Orientation is held over two days prior to the start of clinical shifts,

• Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the assignment,

• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler,

• Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
